Pre-School

Our Pre-School

Lings Primary School has a well-established pre-school run by qualified school staff.  We have space for 32 children - each child is allocated to a key worker, who works in partnership with parents and carers to make sure that every child meets their potential. Our aim is to offer a happy, enjoyable and stimulating environment for your child. Our pre-school wants to give your child the opportunity to grow and learn, preparing them for their next steps into school life.

Our pre-school is based next to our Reception classrooms.  We have a fantastic environment in which we facilitate exciting child-led learning and we work closely with the Reception teachers, enabling a smooth transition into school.  Children can join our pre-school as soon as they are three years old.

The government funds up to 15 hours of free childcare (universal entitlement) and working parents may be able to claim additional hours to support with childcare costs (30 hours).   Please follow the link below to check your entitlement:

Funded early education and childcare for 3 and 4 year olds | West Northamptonshire Council

If you are not entitled to Extended Hours Funding, but would like your child to attend more than 15 hours per week, you can pay for the additional sessions at a cost of £18.50 per session, providing that there are sessions available.
