Welcome to Lings Primary School

Karen RolfKaren Rolf, HeadteacherA warm welcome to Lings Primary School.  I am exceptionally proud to be Headteacher of this vibrant and happy school.  Lings is a two-form entry primary school with a our own pre-school on site.

At Lings we take great pride in being the heart of our community and placing the children at the heart of everything we do.  We are passionate about giving our pupils the best possible educational experiences and we have high expectations of them, which is reflected in our school values of Ambition, Resilience and Responsibility.

We hold our children in unconditional positive regard and endeavour to be a safe, happy, and successful community where individuals are welcomed, accepted, and equally valued. We encourage the consideration and respect of others, tolerance and understanding.

Everyone is encouraged to be the best they can be, and we believe that every child has the potential to thrive if given the right support and a range of opportunities.

We know the importance and value of a broad curriculum that offers our pupils a wide range of opportunities and nurtures them to be well-rounded, responsible citizens of the future.  Our dedicated staff team work in partnership with parents and carers to achieve the best possible outcomes and to develop our pupils as individuals.

Through being part of NPAT (Northamptonshire Primary Academy Trust) we have strong partnerships both locally and nationally – for example, with the University of Northampton, The Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Gallery.  As a staff team, we are committed to working collaboratively and continually learning and developing.

If you would like to come and look around our happy learning community then please contact the school office on 01604 410369 – we would be delighted to welcome you in and show you around.
