ROBINS Breakfast Club and OWLS After School Care Club

Lings’ Primary School Before (ROBINS) and After school Care (OWLS) Clubs provide a safe, stimulating and enjoyable childcare for children who attend Lings Primary School.

The clubs are run by school staff in the main school hall and have full access to school facilities, such as the playground, field, and the library.    

ROBINS Breakfast Club is open from 8:00 am to 8:45am (doors close at 8:15am).  Breakfast is served between 8:00am and 8:20am and children are then taken to their classes at 8:45am.

OWLS After School Club runs from 3:15pm until 5:15pm. A light snack is provided at about 4:00pm. The after-school club is also able to accommodate children who have attended a teacher-led club in school once they have finished but the whole session is still chargeable as the place is held for your child.

We currently only provide term time childcare. Robins and Owls clubs will be closed on teacher training days and in the case of any emergency school closure.

Bookings

Initially a registration and agreement form must be completed indicating the required days and times. If a place is available, then the booking and payment will be opened on Schoolcomms. All bookings will need to be made and paid for in advance on Schoolcomms, telephone or email bookings cannot be taken. 

Fees

ROBINS Breakfast Club - £2.50 per day (including breakfast)

These fees are subject to review in July and may rise for September 2025.

OWLS After School Club - £7.50 per day (including snack)

These fees are subject to review in September and may rise for April 2026.

The club is run by suitably qualified staff who are employed by Lings Primary School, part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust. The Before and After School Care Club follows the school and trust policies and procedure.  The overall management of these clubs is the responsibility of the Head Teacher of Lings Primary School.
