In Year One, we are a committed and conscientious team who strive to deliver a broad and rich curriculum. We continue to work in partnership with parents and build upon the strong relationships that have already been formed in EYFS.

The Year One curriculum is planned from the National Curriculum and in line with the NPAT Curriculum. In the first term, we plan activities that supports the transition from Reception to Year One. We recognise that our children still need a play-based approach to learning, as we have some of the youngest learners in the school. 

Our aim in Year One is to support and provide our children with the tools needed to become independent and ambitious learners.
